Boots Beauty Advent Calendar- The Final Day

So the time has come where I've reached the end of my Boots Beauty Advent Calendar. Today's gift was the best gift out of the whole calendar, and it was the best way to finish the calendar. Being the absolute potato that I am, I completely forgot to photograph the product inside the door and I've now recycled the calendar so I hope you can all forgive me, it is Christmas tomorrow after all.

Today's gift was a full size 17 Blow Out Mascara. I've actually wanted to try this mascara for ages as it sounds really good, and after trying it out today I'm REALLY impressed! My eyelashes look so much more voluminous and long, it's fab!

This mascara promises 12x more volume, now I wouldn't say it gives you 12x more, I'd say more 4x. But it's impressive all the same!

The brush is quite large, but it's very easy to work with and it doesn't clump your lashes together.

Along with the mascara, there was a voucher for triple points when you buy a product from the advent calendar. I think I'll be purchasing a few things out of it, and who doesn't love triple points??

Overall I've been really impressed with this advent calendar and it was well worth the £30. Next year however, I will be buying a different beauty advent calendar, just so I can have something a bit different.

Boots Beauty Advent Calendar- Days 22 & 23

So I have one more door left in my advent calendar, Christmas is almost upon us. Day's 22 and 23 were both really good products that I was very happy with.

Yesterdays gift was one of my favourites I've received so far. If you read my last post then you'll know what it was, if not, continue reading to find out. And even if you did read it, continue reading to find out what day 23 was;).

Any guesses??

Yesterday's gift was a mini Nails Inc polish in 'Porchester Square'. This is a lovely muted mushroom colour that I really love. I spoke about it in yesterday's post so if you want to read my full thoughts on it click here.

It's a 4ml size bottle but I have a feeling that the full size may be mine very soon as I love this colour so much.

Today's gift was a nice surprise and I'm excited to try it out and see how it works.

It's a big door.. so what could it be??

Today's gift was a mini Umberto Giannini Backcomb in a Bottle. The idea of this is that it gives your hair that backcombed effect without you having to actually backcomb your hair and damage it. I haven't tried it yet but I've sprayed it and I'm really not keen on the smell, but I won't let that put me off too much. This can also be used to give your hair more volume, not that I need anymore;).

I'm excited to try this product and I cannot wait for tomorrows door as it's the 'biggie' and it's sure to have something impressive behind it.

Boots Beauty Advent Calendar- Days 20 & 21

As I'm typing this, it's 4 days until Christmas, crazy!! It feels like it wasn't so long ago that we were all excited because it was 4 weeks until Christmas!

Yesterday's gift was a really, really nice gift and I was delighted to find it behind the door.

Hmmm, any ideas??

Yesterday's gift was a Mavala nail polish in '213 Pure Diamond' which is a gorgeous holographic glitter, which can be used as a top coat or on it's own.

I have no other nail polishes in my collection that are like this and I'm so happy to have got it. I'm sure that I'll get a lot of use out of it this festive season, it may even be part of my Christmas nails.. who knows??

 Any guesses?

Today's gift was a full size (I think) Botanics Heat Protection Shine Serum. This is a serum that is supposed to make your hair look healthy and shiny whilst controlling frizz, which has really excited me as having naturally curly hair=frizz. I will literally do anything to get rid of the frizz.

You only get 30ml of product in the tub, but one or two pumps I think would be sufficient enough for my whole head.

The serum just looks like any other serum but it smells really floral/fruity, really similar to my Aussie Dual Personality Serum. I'm excited to try this out and see if it does as it claims!

Boots Beauty Advent Calendar- Days 18 & 19

Yet again, I've had to bunch two days together as I had no time last night to take photos or type a post, and it's so much easier to bunch both together.

You know when I said one day 14 that it was the last perfume sample? Well urm yeah, I was wrong, yesterday's was the last one, but it wasn't a disappointing one.

Anyone guessed??

Yesterday's gift was the last perfume sample in the calendar, Ghost Moonlight. If you can remember way back to day 11, where I got the Ghost original fragrance, this one smells really similar but it's just a bit more floral and feminine. I was chuffed to recieve this as Ghost fragrances smell amazing and I'll get a lot of use out of this one.

As the previous Ghost sample I got, this one came with a screw off lid and a stick applicator which I think is really clever and a nice way to apply perfume.

Yet again, here is a link to The Perfume Shop to get all the information on the fragrance.

Today's gift was rather exciting as it is a product I have wanted to try for a while but it's one of those products that are forever out of stock and difficult to get hold of, but now I have it and I'm chuffed.

What could it be??

Today's gift was a Classic Carmex Lip Balm. I have been wanting this for ages and I'm happy to finally have it. It smells really minty/menthol-y and it's really nice to apply to the lips.

There is a lot of product in this tub and even after using it once, my lips feel a lot better than they've felt in a few weeks. I'm sure I'll get good use out of this and it may even help heal my flaking lips (I'm like a snake).

Boots Beauty Advent Calendar- Days 16 & 17

There are 7 days left in my advent calendar, and it feels like I've had it for no time at all!
I've bunched both day's together as day 16 wasn't really worth a whole blog post. The gift I received yesterday was sort of a disappointment, but it was nice all the same.

Let's see what it was...

Yesterday's gift was a cute little nail file. There isn't much to say about this except that it's cute, and nail files are always handy to have nearby as you never know when you may snag a nail. I'm sure I'll get good use out of this as I'm growing my nails long and they always get snagged and go funny shapes. It was a little disappointing but I won't complain too much as today's gift certainly made up for it.

The suspense...

Eeeeeek!!

Today's gift was a mini Soap & Glory Flake Away body scrub. I've heard great things about this scrub and I can't wait to try it! It smells heavenly, I've literally just sat and sniffed it half the night (yeah, I'm weird). It looks like wet sand in a way but it feels very exfoliating and I'm excited to use it!

I'm soooo happy with today's gift as I'm a huge Soap & Glory fan and I love trying new things from them:D My will expand massively on Christmas because I'm getting The Yule Monty gift hamper (ahhhhh!!) so this has made me super excited for that too!!

Boots Beauty Advent Calendar- Day 15

10 sleeps until Christmas, the excitement is taking over!!
Today's gift was a huge surprise but is by far one of my favourites that I've received so far!

You all want to know what it is, don't you?

Today's gift was a full size 'Tattoo Me' eyeliner from Seventeen. Tattoo Me is a liquid eyeliner that promises 48 hour wear, and from some reviews I've read, it does deliver.

This eyeliner has a brush applicator that, from swatches on my hand, I can tell is quite firm and will make application easier. It's extremely pigmented, and I'm super impressed.

'Unrivaled staying power', you can say that again! The swatch I've had on my hand since 7am, is still on black as it was when I first swatched it. I've washed my hands numerous times, washed dishes, moisturised my hands and I've even just rubbed at the swatch, and it will not budge!
As I'm typing this, I'm using my Nivea Double Effects Eye Makeup remover to get it off my hand and it's come off really easily.

This eyeliner seems really good but it will definitely be one for parties/longer days where I need my eyeliner to last more than 8 hours or so. But for the time being I will stick with my Collection Extreme 24hr Felt Tip Liner, but I will get a lot of use out of this too.

Boots Beauty Advent Calendar- Days 13 & 14

Firstly, I'd like to apologise for day 13 not going up yesterday night, I was at a friends and wasn't home till late, so therefore had no time to write it. Secondly I've decided to throw both days together as it's better than posting two posts within minutes of each other.

So on day 13, I was pleasantly surprised with the gift that I received.

Yesterday's gift was another Vichy product, which I was happy to receive as from online reviews, it sounds really good.
This serum is meant to illuminate the eye area and thicken your eyelashes. This really appeals to me as I have quite long lashes but they're not very thick at all.

It's only a small tube, but a little goes a LONG way! So I have a feeling that this may last for a while.

I'm excited to see if this does as it claims in the long run, but so far, so good!

On to today's gift which was yet another perfume sample (I think it's the last one in the calendar) and I was very happy with it.

Today's gift was a Juicy Couture 'Couture La La' perfume sample. I've never actually smelt any Juicy Couture fragrances but this one smells amazing so I'm tempted to go smell more!

As per usual I'm not going to try and describe the scent so here's a link to The Perfume Shop.

I'm so happy with my calendar so far and I'm looking forward to the next 10 days.
